SD Pro Arte Voices
During my last year studying at San Diego State University, I was nominated by my professors to participate in a course called the Design Studio, along with ten other designers. Instead of the course leader creating assignments for us to complete, we worked directly with clients–SDSU faculty and students specifically. Our projects consisted mostly of Branding and Marketing for various school departments, clubs, events, and more!
One of the projects we were tasked with designing was a series of concert posters for the SDSU School of Music and Dance. Although my posters weren’t ultimately chosen, I was later approached by the Choir Director, inquiring about using my designs to help promote an event for a non-profit music company in San Diego. And thus, a working relationship started.

2016 Concert Season
After a glowing review on the 2015 finale event design, I was asked to help with some new marketing materials. To create some consistency amongst the three events, I used bright blocks of color to contain the copy, and dramatic macro-photography to align with the theme of each concert.

2015 Finale Event
The design that started it all! Although this design had initially been intended for another event, the creative choices I made, also effectively supported the theme of the SDPAV event, Beginning to End. The use of bold macro photography and dynamic composition in this piece creates a sense of power, drama, and overwhelming intrigue.
