Knotty Whiskey

Knotty Whiskey is a full branding and packaging concept for an Irish Coffee Cocktail kit, complete with all the ingredients needed to make the classic drink. The packaging is inspired by the drink’s two most essential components – whiskey and coffee. The wooden barrels used to distill whiskey inspired the cylindrical packaging, and woodgrain pattern, and the opening in the front reveals the logo, surrounded by a graphic that mimics a coffee ring.

Once the lid is removed, the room is suddenly enveloped in the aroma of a rich hazelnut coffee, as whole coffee beans are used to hold the ingredient bottles in place. The kit also includes a recipe card detailing how to make the drink, a coaster, and a brief history of the iconic beverage.
